In questo film la Creatura presenta una notevole evoluzione psicologica che è sicuramente alla base del successo della pellicola. Il Mostro di Frankenstein inizia a nutrire dei sentimenti umani fin dall'inizio (cosa accennata già nel primo film), che si sviluppano gradualmente a seguito di una serie di incontri "di crescita" del personaggio; particolarmente significativa è la parte in compagnia del vecchio cieco, che aiuta la Creatura non solo sul piano dei sentimenti, facendogli carpire una idea vaga del bene e del male, ma anche a livello didattico, insegnandogli a parlare e a relazionarsi con gli altri. Ne deriva un forte desiderio di affetto e contatto umano che sarà alla base delle ambizioni di avere una moglie.......
Dr. Frankenstein and his monster both turn out to be alive, not killed as previously believed. Dr. Frankenstein wants to get out of the evil experiment business, but when a mad scientist, Dr. Pretorius, kidnaps his wife, Dr. Frankenstein agrees to help him create a new creature, a woman, to be the companion of the monster......
