In seguito alla morte della madre, Mary Katherine (a.k.a. M.K.), una ragazza diciassettenne si trasferisce nella casa del suo eccentrico padre, il Professor Bomba, che le espone la sua teoria secondo il quale la natura altro non sarebbe che un micro-cosmo abitato da minuscoli esseri (che non possiamo vedere perché vivono in maniera accelerata), M.K. però accoglie con scetticismo questa teoria e desidera che il padre cessi le sue ricerche. Entrambi ignorano che vicino a loro vivono effettivamente minuscoli soldati chiamati Leafman, che proteggono la foresta in cui si trova la casa del Professor Bomba da creature malvagie chiamate Boggan...................



Young Mary Katherine (M.K.) returns to her eccentric scientist father's home, but his all-consuming quest to discover a tiny civilization in the neighboring forest drives them apart. However, M.K. soon finds herself shrunken down by Queen Tara of that forest who was mortally wounded by the putrefying Boggans.............
