Eleanor e Clara sono due giovani donne che dopo essere fuggite dalla scena di un violento crimine si rifugiano in una località costiera, trovando riparo sul lungomare e in motel fatiscenti. Per guadagnare un po' di denaro Clara inizia a prostituirsi ed un giorno incontra il timido Noel che le mette a disposizione il suo fatiscente motel, il Byzantium, che la ragazza, sempre proiettata verso il futuro, trasforma in un bordello......
Two mysterious women seek refuge in a run-down coastal resort. Clara meets lonely Noel, who provides shelter in his deserted guesthouse, Byzantium. Schoolgirl Eleanor befriends Frank and tells him their lethal secret. They were born 200 years ago and survive on human blood. As knowledge of their secret spreads...
