| Descrizione | Strange Days è un film di fantascienza del 1995 diretto da Kathryn Bigelow e prodotto e scritto da James Cameron.
Il film colpisce per la sua visione distopica del futuro e per l'ambivalenza morale di molti dei suoi protagonisti, portando qualcuno a descriverlo come un esempio di noir postmoderno.
Los Angeles, 31 dicembre 1999, Lenny Nero è un ex poliziotto, radiato tempo addietro dai ranghi, che vive spacciando wire-trip clips, dischetti sui quali vengono registrate esperienze altrui, che includono tutti i loro input sensoriali, come vista, udito, tatto ed olfatto, e che, tramite un lettore, possono essere rivissute da chiunque.
Nero inizia a ricevere delle clip anonime, tra le quali vi è quella in cui sono registrati lo stupro e l'omicidio di un'amica prostituta, che aveva precedentemente tentato di avvertirlo, lasciando una clip nella sua automobile, dove è registrato l'omicidio del rapper Jeriko One, ucciso a sangue freddo da due poliziotti. Le sue indagini private, condotte insieme a due amici, l'ex collega Max Peltier e la bodyguard Lornette Mason, sembrerebbero portarlo a Philo, un importante discografico ed attuale compagno della sua ex-fidanzata Faith, coinvolto nella copertura dell'omicidio del cantante, ma l'epilogo, che avviene durante la grande festa di inizio millennio, gli farà scoprire una realtà del tutto differente da quella sospettata...
