| Descrizione | Sin City è un film del 2005 diretto da Robert Rodríguez, Frank Miller e Quentin Tarantino (special guest director in una parte dell'episodio Un'abbuffata di morte).
È tratto dall'omonimo fumetto Sin City dello stesso Miller, una serie indipendente della Dark Horse Comics divenuta un vero e proprio fenomeno cult.
Il film comincia con una scena ambientata in una notte di pioggia, su una balconata di un grattacielo della violenta e corrotta Sin City, dove una ragazza (Marley Shelton) è impegnata ad ammirare il panorama notturno della città. Viene avvicinata e successivamente sedotta da un affascinante ragazzo (Josh Hartnett): lei accenna al fatto che è spaventata e che è stufa di fuggire. Il suo giovane seduttore di lavoro fa il killer ed è stato assoldato per ucciderla. Il film si apre così con un omicidio, dando subito anche ai neofiti del fumetto di Frank Miller il senso dell'ambientazione noir e violenza in cui le storie si svolgono...
