Jane Hudson è un’ex-bambina prodigio ormai dimenticata che vive in una vecchia villa gotica insieme alla sorella Blanche, una celebre attrice degli Anni ’30 ritiratasi dalle scene dopo un terribile incidente d’auto che l’aveva resa paralitica. Ma a un certo punto, ossessionata dai ricordi del proprio passato, Jane precipita nella follia e inizia a sottoporre la sorella a una serie di torture fisiche e psicologiche.
