Bardertown è una città sotterranea, dominata con pugno di ferro da Aunty Entità, dove è possibile commerciare qualunque cosa: dall’acqua alla vita umana. Nel centro della città si trova Thunderdome, una sorta di arena della giustizia, dove gli uomini fanno valere i propri diritti combattendo fino alla morte. Uno straniero giunge a Bardertown in cerca delle sue proprietà che gli sono state rubate. E’ Max, il solitario ex-Interceptor, sempre in cerca di qualcosa che nemmeno lui sa bene cosa sia. Gli viene detto che ciò che è suo gli sarà restituito in cambio di un favore. Questo lo porterà a Thunderdome e… oltre la sfera del tuono. (Davide Longoni)
