Ispirato a fatti realmente accaduti. Al detective della omicidi di Texas City Mike Souder e al suo collega newyorkese Brian Heigh viene assegnato un caso di omicidio, dopo il ritrovamento
del cadavere di una ragazzina nei Killing Fields, la zona paludosa della costa dove negli anni sono stati ritrovati numerosi cadaveri di giovani donne, perlopiù prostitute e studentesse.
Durante le indagini si aggiungono altre vittime, ma quando Little Anne, una ragazzina senza casa di cui Mike si occupa, viene rapita, Mike, Brian e l'ex moglie di Mike, Pam, dovranno far di
tutto per salvarla.................
Souder, a homicide detective in a small Texan town, and his partner, transplanted New York City cop Detective Heigh, track a sadistic serial killer dumping his victims' mutilated bodies in
a nearby marsh locals call 'The Killing Fields'. Though the swampland crime scenes are outside their jurisdiction, Detective Heigh is unable to turn his back on solving the gruesome
murders. Despite his partner's warnings, he sets out to investigate the crimes. Before long, the killer changes the game and begins hunting the detectives..............
