Storyline
Dr. Meacham is chosen along with others by the inhabitants of the planet Metaluna to do research that will help save their dying planet. However, an evil scheme is uncovered by the
suspecting Dr. Meacham when he discovers the Metalunan's plan to take over Earth. Dr. Meacham then escapes an exploding Metalunan built Earth lab along with Dr. Adams only to be kidnapped
while flying away in a small plane. A flying saucer wisks both the scientists off to Metaluna where they are held accountable for blowing up the Metalunan Earth lab during their escape.
They later escape there with the help of Exeter the friendly Metalunan. Metaluna then self destructs and the Doctors make it safely back to Earth, which is saved from Metalunan invasion
Trama
Uno scienziato di nome Cal Meacham riceve il catalogo dei prodotti di una ditta e incuriosito ordina un kit di montaggio di una apparecchiatura sconosciuta, l'interocitor. Dopo averlo
montato, l'apparecchio incomincia a funzionare, mettendo in comunicazione audiovideo lo scienziato con un personaggio estraneo che lo invita ad una visita al proprio laboratorio
scientifico. Meacham non può resistere alla curiosità e, arrivato sulle colline della Georgia, scopre che lo straniero di nome Exter ha riunito un gruppo di scienziati a lavorare assieme a
lui per il progresso della civiltà e per liberare il mondo dal pericolo della guerra. Meacham, insieme alla collega Ruth Adams, scopre che agli scienziati è stata tolta in parte la volontà
e progettano di ribellarsi. Exter rivela di essere un alieno e spiega che la sua è una missione disperata, perché il suo pianeta, che si chiama Metaluna, sta per essere distrutto dal Popolo
delle Meteore..................
