Tornano i personaggi che nel 1999 hanno divertito il mondo intero con le loro vicende da adolescenti inquieti verso l'età adulta. I ragazzi prendono una casa in affitto al mare per trascorrervi un'indimenticabile estate. Se lo sarà o meno dipende...dalle ragazze!
RECENSIONE
I ragazzi di "American Pie" sono tornati e soprattutto Jim ancora più impacciato di prima, se questo può essere possibile. Stavolta la scena si sposta un anno dopo, alle prime vacanze estive del college. Perché passare le vacanze in casa quando si può affittare un cottage sulle rive del lago dove organizzare feste e conoscere regazze?
I nostri eroi Jim, Oz, Kevin, Finch e il sempre eccessivo Stifler decidono quindi di passare quella che, nei loro piani, sarà un'estate indimenticabile.
La pellicola ci regala gag di tutti i tipi che, seppur a sfondo marcatamente sessuale, non sono mai eccessivamente volgari. Se nel precedente episodio la scena della torta di mele (che diede nome al film) è rimasta nella mente di tutti, questa volta sarà la colla la protagonista del momento più esilarante del film. E poi non manca l'incredibile figura del padre di Jim che più cerca di aiutare il figlio, più lo mette in imbarazzo.
La formula vincente del film di J.B. Rogers va ricercata sia nel cast, lo stesso dell'episodio precedente, sia negli argomenti di facile presa sul pubblico più giovane e nella musica sempre adatta a scandire i vari momenti.
L'unico dubbio che può venire è legato al momento storico, nell'attuale situazione i giovani si preoccupano realmente soltanto di andare con più ragazze possibile o forse il loro pensiero si focalizza su problemi di natura ben diversa? Comunque si tratta di un'occasione per evadere dalla pressione psicologica che stiamo vivendo.
