Di certo qualcosa di bello, ma immaginatevi inoltre di aggiungere un pò di Resident Evil al tutto, facendo si che la citta in cui si svolgono le gare sia completamente infestata da zombi, ed ecco uscire fuori Armageddon Riders! Riprendendo il sistema di gioco di need for speed, subito dopo una breve gara tutorial con ovviamente una macchina potente, verrete catapultati nella citta con la piu scrausa delle utilitari.
Dopo le prime gare si notano la presenza di bonus sparsi per il percorso e l'apparizione di alcune schermate che indicano il guadagno di crediti e lo sblocco di nuovi pezzi per la macchina o proprio nuove macchine. Una volta guadagnato qualcosa, è l'ora di potenziare il nostro bolide e di armarlo un pochettino.
Cosi, una volta entrati nell'officina (contrassegnata da una colonna verde) ci si ritrova davanti a poche semplici opzioni: una per nuove macchina, una per nuovi turbo, una per il "paraurti" (se cosi si puo chiamare un mega trita carne o varie lame), una per le "minigonne" (ed anche qui ci sono lame estraibili, lanciafiamme ecc., tutte adatte a maciullare zombi e macchine!) Le macchine si sporcano via via di sangue e le gomme spesso lasciano delle belle traccie rosse, insomma un gioco davvero divertente è da provare!
