Episodio 13 - L'Arte o la Vita (Hermann e Clarissa, 1970): L'avventura di Hermann a Monaco di Baviera si conclude. Grazie al regalo del Console, quel pass ferroviario datogli l'anno prima, Hermann inizia il vertiginoso viaggio in treno che alla fine, dopo 10 anni, lo riporta nello Hunsrück.

It tells the story of how Maria's youngest son Hermann leaves his rural home and makes a new life for himself as a composer in Munich during the socially turbulent years of the 1960s. At 25 hours and 32 minutes divided into 13 episodes, The Second Heimat is considered the longest film to be commercially shown in its entirety
Episode 13 - The Art or the Life (Hermann & Clarissa, 1970): Hermann's adventure in Monaco ends. Thanks to the Consul's gift, the rail pass, Hermann begins the dizzying train ride that, after 10 years, brings him back in the Hunsrück.
