RECENSIONE

Nel 1955 uscì il film d'animazione più romantico di tutti i tempi, "Lilli e il Vagabondo", creato dalla Disney e trasmesso in cinemascope. Chi non si è mai sentito toccare al cuore nel vedere le immagini dei due cagnolini, che si scambiano dolci effusioni mentre mangiano un piatto di spaghetti con polpette?
Lilli e Biagio erano due cani, ma avevano gli stessi problemi che hanno i loro amici bipedi. Quando si sono conosciuti erano due esseri profondamente diversi: lei elegante e raffinata cagnetta con tanto di pedigree, che viveva in una lussuosa villetta di un quartiere residenziale, mentre Biagio, il vagabondo, era solo un meticcio di strada che vagabondava in cerca di cibo, ma conscio che il suo era l'unico modo di vivere libero e felice. Ma, si sa, quando cupido ci mette lo zampino le differenze scompaiono, e l'unica cosa che conta è di perdersi negli occhi di chi si ama.
Una vera ode all'amore e alle barriere che può scavalcare. Più di quarant'anni dopo, e proprio pochi giorni dopo San Valentino, esce in esclusiva per l'Home Video "Lilli e il Vagabondo II - Il cucciolo ribelle", dedicato a tutti i più piccini, ma anche agli innamorati.
Protagonista di questo episodio è Zampa, il cui nome in lingua originale è Scamp, cioè "briccone", figlio di Lilli e Biagio. Il suo sogno è quello di vivere libero e lontano dalle costrizioni che la vita famigliare gli impone, e non ha nessuna intenzione di dare ascolto ai consigli e suggerimenti dei suoi genitori. Zampa, infatti, non conosce il passato di suo padre che considera un vero e proprio pantofolaio. Alla prima occasione scapperà da casa, si unirà ad una banda di cani randagi e incontrerà il suo primo amore, Angel, con la quale scoprirà quanto è fortunato ad avere una famiglia che gli vuole bene e si preoccupa per lui.
Tra i tanti amici a quattro zampe che rincontreremo ci sono Fido e Wisky, rispettivamente un bracco e un terrier scozzese, due vecchi amici della famiglia di Lilli, i due pestiferi gatti siamesi Si e Am, che in passato avevano combinato parecchi guai. Incontreremo però anche altri nuovi personaggi, come Angel, il meticcio di cui si innamorerà Zampa, Buster il capo della banda dei cani del deposito e tanti altri simpatici personaggi.
