RECENSIONE

La commedia americana per eccellenza, "A qualcuno piace caldo" di Billy Wilder, mantiene tutt'oggi la sua grande carica ironica, riuscendo a divertire con gusto anche le nuove generazioni. Un'opera fuori dal tempo, punto di riferimento per tutti i film dello stesso genere, ha il suo segreto in una serie di elementi tanto banali quanto difficile da ottenere contemporaneamente.

In primo luogo la storia, abilmente costruita e che, sfruttando la figura dell'uomo camuffato da donna, per sua natura altamente spassosa, dà vita ad una serie di equivoci che riempiono l'intreccio di battute e situazioni altamente comiche. Inoltre non manca l'amore, qui rappresentato in due storie parallele fra loro molto diverse ma entrambe convenzionali e sorprendenti allo stesso tempo. Secondo elemento è il cast, quasi esemplare, con la coppia Tony Curtis e Jack Lemmon tra le meglio assortite di sempre e dotati di tempi comici quasi perfetti, una svampita Marylin Monroe più dolce del suo nome "Zucchero candito", che delizia con diversi piacevoli stacchetti musicali, e una serie di simpatici comprimari in cui brilla il vecchio miliardario Osgood, interpretato da Joe E. Brown.

Ultimo elemento è il ritmo, sempre brillante e gestito da una regia in grande spolvero (mi viene in mente l'efficace ed esilarante montaggio incrociato fra Lemmon che balla il tango e Curtis in barca con la Monroe). E poi c'è la ciliegina sulla torta, che arriva nell'indimenticabile ultimo dialogo che si conclude in quella battuta così inaspettata e sferzante, "Nessuno è perfetto". Nessuno sarà perfetto ma questa commedia forse lo è. (Manuel Celentano)
