In occasione della consegna delle onorificenze del Commonwealth Britannico per il 2008, a Kylie Minogue è stato conferito il titolo di Ufficiale dell\'Ordine dell\'Impero Britannico (OBE) per la notevole carriera musicale. Nel corso del 2008, il governo francese le ha conferito il titolo di Cavaliere Delle Arti e Dello Spettacolo Nazionale e la cantante per ringraziare di tale titolo ha iniziato il Tour del 2008 proprio da Parigi.
