Circus è il sesto album in studio della cantante statunitense Britney Spears. L\'album è stato annunciato il 15 Settembre dalla Jive Records ed è uscito in America il 2 dicembre, giorno del 27° compleanno della Spears, mentre in Italia era disponibile già quattro giorni prima, il 28 novembre 2008.Il primo singolo, Womanizer, prodotto dai The Outsyder doveva cominciare la sua rotazione nelle radio il 22 Settembre, ma poi spostato al 26 settembre 2008.
Il secondo singolo estratto è \"Circus\", il quale dà anche il titolo all\'album.
L\'album a solo un giorno di prenotazione su iTunes USA e Canada ha gia raggiunto in entrambe le classifiche la prima posizione degli album più venduti in generale.
