Fantaghirò è un media franchise che ha prodotto cinque miniserie televisive di genere fantasy-fantastico andate in onda a cadenza annuale (escluso un anno) tra il 1991 e il 1996 e una serie animata del 1999. Le serie tv furono prodotte da Reteitalia, per la regia di Lamberto Bava. La serie animata venne prodotta dallo studio di animazione spagnolo BRB Internacional.
Le musiche delle serie furono scritte da Amedeo Minghi. La trama si svolge in un tipico ambiente fantasy, tra principesse, streghe, maghi e creature leggendarie. I principali interpreti sono Alessandra Martines e Kim Rossi Stuart.
Fantaghirò è la più giovane delle figlie del re, al quale causa molti problemi perché vorrebbe combattere. Il re nemico, Romualdo, invita l'altro re a finire la guerra che va avanti da secoli tra i due regni, mediante un singolo duello. Ma soltanto una delle sue figlie potrà prestarsi al duello: sarà proprio Fantaghirò.
Fantaghirò is a media franchise that produced five fantasy-fantasy television miniseries aired annually (except one year) between 1991 and 1996 and an animated series in 1999. The TV series were produced by Reteitalia, for the directed by Lamberto Bava. The animated series was produced by the Spanish animation studio BRB Internacional.
The music for the series was written by Amedeo Minghi. The plot takes place in a typical fantasy environment, among princesses, witches, wizards and legendary creatures. The main performers are Alessandra Martines and Kim Rossi Stuart.
Fantaghirò is the youngest of the king's daughters, to whom she causes many problems because she would like to fight. The enemy king, Romuald, invites the other king to end the war that has been going on for centuries between the two kingdoms, by means of a single duel. But only one of his daughters will be able to lend herself to the duel: it will be Fantaghirò.
