Il film merita di essere ricordato per lo straordinario ed imprescindibile apporto del grande Ray Harryhausen, mago della tecnica della stop motion che rende degno di interesse quello che altrimenti sarebbe un film d'avventura (peraltro liberamente tratto dal romanzo di Verne) assolutamente nella media
The film deserves to be remembered for the extraordinary and indispensable contribution of the great Ray Harryhausen, a wizard of the stop motion technique who makes what would otherwise be an absolutely average adventure film (freely based on Verne's novel) worthy of interest
