Fred e Barney sono due operai di una cava per costruzioni, ed un giorno vengono contattati da un alieno inviato sulla Terra per scoprire il valore dell'amore. Conosciute ad un Fast food le rispettive future mogli, i due si dovranno scontrare con la ricca famiglia di Wilma e con la madre di quest'ultima, Pearl.Infine l'amore trionferà, dopo che l'intero gruppo si sposterà nella città di Rock Vegas, invitati ad un tranello dal fidanzato disatteso di Wilma.
