Romantico, affascinante, semplice e toccante è il tema principale del postino.
Come se non bastasse il tema principale, è anche registrato in vari accordi (clavicembalo e archi, chitarra spagnola e la versione bandoneon). Tutte deliziosi!
Quello che sembra essere anche un'altra piacevole sorpresa per il pubblico italiano in questa versione americana sono il recital di poesie che in realtà non erano presenti nelle versioni europee.
Mi sono trovato più volte a prestare l'ascolto di Morning (Love Sonnet XVIII) recitata da Sting e di Poetry di Miranda Richardson...emozionanti entrambe.
Forse la più grande conseguenza del CD, è che mi ha portato a conoscere ed approfondire meglio le poesie di Neruda (amore sonetti, odi).
Lo sapevate che Neruda ha vinto il premio Nobel per la sua bella poesia, nel 1971?
Musicalmente e poeticamente, questo CD è un must.
