Trama
Texas, 1933. Bonnie Parker, cameriera in un bar, conosce Clyde Barrow, si innamora di lui e inizia a rapinare le banche. In poco tempo i due diventano famosi: la polizia non riesce a catturarli, mentre presso i diseredati ridotti in miseria dalla crisi del 1929 diventano due eroi, il simbolo di una rivolta che tutti sognano di compiere. Ma i tempi diventano sempre più difficili: la polizia moltiplica le trappole e riesce a convincere il padre di un complice a denunciare il loro nascondiglio. Finiranno crivellati dai colpi dei poliziotti. Nell'America contestataria degli anni Sessanta i due rapinatori anarchici ottennero un grande, imprevisto successo. Oscar alla migliore attrice non protagonista (Estelle Parsons) e alla fotografia.
