Un monaco buddista vive insieme ad un suo allievo in una casa galleggiante situata nel mezzo di una bellissima valle...
Quest'ultimo dovrà, come tutti, affrontare la vita, sé stesso, il suo animo, un animo congenitamente corrotto.
La metafora della vita dell'uomo in quanto creatura imperfetta, nulla di più drammaticamente semplice.
La versione proposta è la Uncut, cui è stata reintegrata la scena finale, eliminata nella versione italiana.
Poiché la scena non presenta dialoghi, nessun sottotitolo è stato aggiunto.
