Grace Under Pressure, il decimo album in studio dei Rush, fu originariamente pubblicato nell'aprile del 1984 e presenta alcune modifiche soniche chiave, derivanti dalla decisione della band di evolvere ulteriormente il proprio sound ingaggiando un nuovo produttore dopo un decennio di successi con Terry Brown alla direzione. Gli otto brani che compongono Grace Under Pressure riprendono il punto in cui Signals del settembre 1982 si era interrotto, abbracciando pienamente la tecnologia e il temperamento dell'epoca, pur rimanendo fedeli all'abilità della band nel fondere radici progressive con arrangiamenti di brani apprezzati dalle radio. Grace Under Pressure fu coprodotto dai Rush con Peter Henderson e curato da Paul Northfield con l'assistenza di Frank Opolko e Robert Di Giola. Fu il quarto di una serie di sessioni di registrazione dei Rush tenutesi infine al Le Studio di Morin-Heights, in Quebec. Il processo di registrazione istintivo dei Rush presso Le Studio era stato influenzato dalle sessioni tenute lì per il già citato Signals, oltre che per Moving Pictures del febbraio 1981 e Permanent Waves del gennaio 1980.TRACK LIST
