Molti conosceranno The Sisterhood, il progetto presentato da Sarah Jane Morris e Tony Remy nel 2024, in cui dieci delle più note cantautrici del XX secolo sono state protagoniste di un ciclo di canzoni unico nel suo genere – Morris e Remy sapevano già che dieci non erano sufficienti – e che altre dovevano essere incluse. Lo slancio creativo non si è fermato e, al momento della sua prima esecuzione, "The Sisterhood" era diventata dodici, con canzoni inedite per Patti Smith e per l'allora tragicamente scomparsa Sinead O'Connor che si sono aggiunte alle dieci originali. Da allora, ne sono state scritte altre nove. Peggy Seeger, Etta James, Joan Baez, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Armatrading, Janis Ian, Tracy Chapman e Amy Winehouse sono entrate a far parte del progetto, riunite in un secondo volume di qualità insuperabile.
