Trama:
Ancora scosso dagli effetti della pandemia e dalla perdita del suo amato mentore, il dottor Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (interpretato da Noah Wyle, anche produttore) accoglie un nuovo gruppo di studenti di medicina e specializzandi nel pronto soccorso sotto organico e sovraffollato del Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, affettuosamente soprannominato “The Pitt”. Unendosi a un team eterogeneo di specializzandi, chirurghi, infermieri ed soccorritori, i nuovi arrivati scopriranno presto gli alti e bassi della medicina d’urgenza — mentre Robby si scontra con un’amministrazione ospedaliera determinata a tagliare i costi. Realistica e toccante, ogni episodio di The Pitt racconta un’ora del turno del personale, offrendo uno sguardo crudo e coinvolgente sulle sfide che affrontano oggi gli operatori sanitari americani, visti attraverso gli occhi degli eroi in prima linea che lavorano giorno e notte per salvare vite.
