Decisa a fuggire dalla dispotica madre e a salvare la sorellina da una sorte misera ed inevitabile per entrambe, Rocky farà di tutto per riuscire nell'impresa. Lei ed i suoi amici Alex e Money hanno già messo a segno una serie di furti elaborati in vari appartamenti, per racimolare abbastanza denaro da potersi lasciare alle spalle la loro città disgraziata, Detroit. Ad ogni modo, i loro piccoli crimini hanno fruttato poco finora e così quando vengono a sapere di un cieco che vive solo in un quartiere abbandonato e che ha nascosta in casa una piccola fortuna, i ragazzi decidono di mettere a segno il loro colpo più grande e definitivo. Ma il loro piano fallisce in modo pericoloso quando la loro vittima si dimostra essere più temibile di quanto si aspettassero. Mentre li insegue senza sosta attraverso la sua casa altamente fortificata, i ragazzi scoprono con orrore che il cieco nasconde ben altro oltre ai soldi.
