In Italia il film è stato distribuito con un titolo che non ha nulla a che fare con l'originale Dawn of the dead (tradotto "L'alba dei morti" . Si viene quindi a perdere il senso dei titoli della trilogia originale che dovevano rendere l'idea di un'invasione di morti viventi
