All My Life, il film diretto da Marc Meyers, racconta la vera storia d'amore tra Jenn Carter (Jessica Rothe) e Solomon 'Sol' Chau (Harry Shum Jr.). Jenn è una giovane studentessa universitaria, dallo spirito tenero e dolce. Un giorno la ragazza incontra in un bar, Sol, un analista di marketing digitale, con la passione per la cucina. I due s'innamorano all'istante l'uno dell'altro, passano molto tempo insieme, si fidanzano e dopo essersi trasferiti, decidono di sposarsi in estate. Il loro sogno però è destinato a infrangersi nel momento in cui, nel mese di dicembre, Sol scopre di avere un cancro terminale al fegato. Le famiglie e gli amici cercano subito di rassicurare i ragazzi e li sostengono anche economicamente. Jenn e Sol vengono travolti dalle attenzioni, la generosità e l'affetto di tante persone provenienti da tutto il mondo che vogliono celebrare la forza dell'amore. Così nonostante la malattia di Sol, i due innamorati non smettono di sognare e portano avanti i preparativi per il matrimonio. Ciò che unisce Jenn e Sol si fa sempre più grande e profondo. La loro storia rappresenta l'importanza di celebrare il vero amore capace di superare qualunque ostacolo e difficoltà.
