Attacco al potere - Olympus Has Fallen è un film del 2013 diretto da Antoine Fuqua.Il giorno della Vigilia di Natale, un attacco terroristico all'auto del Presidente degli Stati Uniti Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) provoca la morte della First Lady (Ashley Judd) e di alcune guardie del corpo.L'agente Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) viene punito da Asher per aver scelto di salvare lui e non sua moglie, costringendolo al reintegro forzato nel Ministero del Tesoro.Tempo dopo, il ministro della Corea del Sud fa visita alla Casa Bianca ma l'incontro con il presidente è impedito da un attacco terroristico.In pochi minuti, un gruppo di nazionalisti della Corea del Nord, capitanato dal feroce Kang Yeonsak (Rick Yune), irrompe nello Studio Ovale e sequestra la delegazione sudcoreana ed americana. Kang vuole ottenere il codice Cerbero, che gli permetterebbe di comandare a distanza il comparto missilistico statunitense per mettere fuori gioco l'America, assicurandosi la vittoria della Corea del Nord sulla Corea del Sud.Per questo minaccia il presidente della Camera Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman), costringendolo a ordinare l'evacuazione delle truppe americane oltre oceano. Venuto a conoscenza dell'attacco terroristico, Mike riesce ad infiltrarsi nella Casa Bianca e a salvare il figlio di Asher.Conoscendo tutti i passaggi segreti della struttura, Mike si fa strada verso il bunker nel quale Kang cerca di estorcere l'ultima parte de codice al presidente. Avendo scoperto che Banning ha intenzione di interferire con i suoi piani, Kang incarica l'agente Forbes (Dylan McDermott), che ha tradito il suo paese appoggiando i terroristi, di contattare Mike e tendergli una trappola...
