Mentre la televisione trasmette uno scadente film di fantascienza "Donne amazzoni sulla Luna", nel quale un gruppetto di astronauti incontra risibili avventure in mezzo al popolo delle amazzoni lunari, un anziano marito in mutande finisce dentro il video e si trova continuamente sbalzato da un programma all'altro, senza poter mai ritornare a casa propria. Altri fatti strani avvengono: un giovanotto viene maltrattato e ucciso dai suoi elettrodomestici; una puerpera e suo marito stentano a farsi consegnare da uno strambo medico il loro bambino; un playboy è screditato dalle pessime informazioni sul suo contoche un computer dà alle ragazze; il figlio dell'"uomo invisibile" è arrestato perché va in giro nudo, credendo di aver ritrovato la formula magica di suo padre, ed è invece visibilissimo.
