RECENSIONE
Splendido film su un gruppo di mercenari che cerca di salvare dei lavoratori europei in Congo Belga. C'è appena stato il massacro di Kindu e lo scenario, tratto da un romanzo di Wilbur Smith, è estremamente realistico. Belle scene di azione e ottima performance di Taylor. Il film non sfigura al confronto con altri classici del genere come I 4 dell'oca Selvaggia e "I Mastini della guerra", e in certi punti siamo dalle parti di Africa Addio di Jacopetti. Assolutamente raccomandato ai patiti di Africa.(Almayer)
MEMORABILE: Gli sgargianti titolo di testa; L'aggressione con la motosega; Il treno sotto attacco; L'assalto al villaggio; Il finale.
