Trama:

Nel 2511 il Sergente Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds e il Caporale Zoe Alleyne sopravvivono nella battaglia della Serenity Valley durante le Guerre di Unificazione dopo una tremenda sconfitta inflitta dall'Alleanza a causa del mancato supporto aereo.
