Patrizia, una bella ragazza, lavora come giornalista al periodico "La settimana", dove però, confinata a redigere una rubrichetta, si sente inutile. Decide allora di farsi affidare dal Direttore di portare a termine una importante inchiesta ma le viene rifiutato. A questo punto Patrizia, che non si dà per vinta, fa una proposta alquanto sconcertante: se riuscirà a scrivere un articolo pubblicabile avrà vinto, al contrario se perderà, andrà a letto con il direttore. Zafferi, il direttore, accetta. Ha inizio così la corsa di Patrizia a scrivere nel miglior modo possibile l'inchiesta.
Patrizia, a beautiful girl, works as a journalist in the periodical "La settimana", where, however, confined to writing a rubrichetta, she feels useless.
