TRAMA
Escape at Dannemora è una miniserie televisiva statunitense del 2018 creata da Brett Johnson e Michael Tolkin, diretta da Ben Stiller, e con protagonisti Benicio del Toro, Patricia Arquette e Paul Dano. La miniserie narra la vicenda della fuga dal carcere Clinton Correctional Facility avvenuta nel 2015, che ha generato una caccia all'uomo verso i due carcerati, aiutati nella fuga da una dipendente della prigione.
Due uomini sono stati incarcerati per omicidio. Richard Matt, colui che ha pensato alla fuga, un vero e proprio manipolatore che alterna la violenza all’arte dei suoi dipinti; insieme al suo compagno di blocco David Sweat, organizza un ambizioso piano di fuga. Ad aiutarli è Joyce “Tilly” Mitchell, madre e moglie annoiata che lavora nella sartoria della prigione.
