Revenge, il film diretto da Coralie Fargeat, vede protagonista la sexy e sfacciata Jen (Matilda Luz), che viene invitata dal suo ricco amante alla tradizionale battuta di caccia che l'uomo organizza con due amici. Isolata nel deserto, la ragazza diventa presto preda del desiderio degli uomini e quello che doveva essere un week end di passione si trasforma in un incubo, in una spietata caccia all'uomo. Per la prima volta un "rape and revenge movie" girato da una regista donna. Ricco di virtuose sequenze pulp, Revenge ricrea il classico gioco del gatto con il topo, mostrando come una donna sappia reagire alla violenza, al più vile degli atti maschili.
