After a brutal virus wipes out most of the population, two young siblings embark on a perilous search for safety.

Il mondo così come lo conosciamo non esiste più. Dopo sei anni da quando un virus brutale portato dalla pioggia ha sterminato quasi completamente l’intera popolazione scandinava, due gemelli danesi abbandonano la sicurezza del loro bunker per andare alla ricerca di tutti i resti della civiltà scomparsa. Ben presto si uniscono a un gruppo di giovani sopravvissuti per intraprendere un viaggio pieno di pericoli attraverso la Scandinavia ormai desolata, alla ricerca di qualsiasi segno di vita.

Liberati dal loro passato comune e dalle regole della società, tutti i membri del gruppo sono liberi di essere ciò che desiderano. Nella loro lotta per la sopravvivenza, essi scoprono che anche in un mondo post-apocalittico esistono ancora amore, gelosia, l’avanzare dell’età e molti dei problemi che pensavano di aver lasciato alle loro spalle con la scomparsa del mondo che un tempo conoscevano. Chi sarai diventato quando arriverà la pioggia?
