Un gruppo di amici si trovano per le vacanze in una località balneare. Una delle ragazze, Marisa, è stata rimandata nelle materie letterarie. Questa circostanza le permette di conoscere un giovane e timido professore, Carlo, il quale le impartisce lezioni di italiano. Tra i due nasce un contrastato idillio. Marisa respinge i timidi approcci di Carlo. L'arrivo di una bellissima cantante, Lola Falana, dà l'opportunità a Carlo di provocare in Marisa una forte gelosia. Infatti, Carlo stringe rapporti amichevoli con la bella negra, facendo credere a tutti che tra loro è nata qualcosa di più di una semplice amicizia. Una sera in un night, Carlo e Lola ballano un frenetico shake. Marisa allora accetta di buttarsi con Fabrizio, il bello della comitiva. Questo, fuori dal night tenta di baciarla. Carlo ha visto tutta la scena, esce e prende a pugni Fabrizio, che sta avendo la peggio, ma un pugno del rivale lo fa cadere in acqua: Carlo non riemerge. Marisa, spaventata, si getta in acqua tutta vestita. Il suo lui è ad attenderla sott'acqua.
A group of friends can be found for a vacation in a seaside resort. One of the girls, Marisa, was postponed to literature. This circumstance allows her to know a young and timid professor, Carlo, who teaches her Italian lessons. Between them, a contrite idyll is born. Marisa rejects Carlo's shy approaches. The arrival of a beautiful singer, Lola Falana, gives Carlo an opportunity to provoke a strong jealousy in Marisa. In fact, Carlo raises friendly relations with the beautiful nigga, believing to everyone that something more than just a friendship is born between them. One night in a night, Carlo and Lola dance a frantic shake. Marisa then agrees to go with Fabrizio, the beautiful man in the comedy. This, out of the night, tries to kiss her. Carlo has seen the whole scene, comes out and punches Fabrizio, who is having the worst, but a fist of his rival makes him fall into the water: Carlo does not come back. Marisa, frightened, is thrown into the water all dressed up. His is waiting for him underwater.
